I can also use my hot rice bags to get back pain relief, simply heat the bag, and place it where it is needed and lean back in a chair. Chronic Pain relief can also occur by sitting in a hot bath if you can safely bend that far. Relaxing in the tub, with a gentle music playing on a radio sitting on the counter top can provide from arthritis pain relief, back and neck pain relief. If you experience trouble sitting in the bathtub, then a shower will work as nicely, if you stand and let the hot water wash the chronic back and neck pain away.

One those days when I have a stubborn case of pain and I need to relax to get arthritis pain relief I will heat my rice bags in the microwave and curl up in a blanket.
